New Believer

Have you given your life to the Lord recently? Or maybe you've given your life to the Lord in the past, but never established a strong foundation in your walk with Christ. Well, at GFCC we have just the class for you--Fresh Start. You will be given instruction on how to build your relationship with Christ, how to finish the race strong, and how to share the gospel with others. This is a class designed just for you and you don't want to miss it!

Community Matters

The world is calling for the church to come from amongst its four walls and show them how much it cares. Jesus said..."I was hunger and you fed me not...I was naked and you cloth me not" Let's be found doing the work of ministry and not just attending church.

GFCC is looking for loving and caring people looking to volunteer in the greater San Antonio, Texas area. Our desire is put a team of people together to serve Christ; while ministering to the hungry, the homeless, and the elderly. We are also looking for God-fearing people to lead the work in hospice care, visit the hospitals, and potentially serve in prison ministry.

If this sounds like the type of ministry you feel God is leading you to utilize your spiritual gifts and talent...we need you, but more importantly God needs you!!! Don't just attend church service and not get involved in fulfilling God's commission. God tells us that they will know that we are his disciple by the love we have one for another.

Do you hear the voice of the Holy Spirit calling your name? Wait no longer...ust say..."Lord send me, I'll go... Ask the leadership and we will help you get started in changing one life at time with the Word of God.

Become A Member

How many new believers have you seen lose interest because there's no plan to help them grown in their faith within 3 months if no one connects with them. The solution: The value of "one" will care for new believers and help them plant deep roots into the body of Christ.

Our increased focus on caring for the spiritual needs of each member, one life at a time is our "bedrock" and we will be committed to the importance of the 'one'. The value of the 'one' is the linchpin to everything we do. We believe it is important that each individual feels as a member of our church, which will translate into tremendous energy and growth.

Our vision for the GFCC New members' class is that our focus on "one person at a time" will produce deeper relationships within our church and community as we build relational components into everything we do. Small groups provide an opportunity for our members to find relationships that challenge them to grow and mature in their faith. More new member will connect with our church through our small groups as members reach out to those around them.

Discipleship Training

The purpose of this class is to encourage believers to move from complacency and laziness to embracing their call and commission to make disciples. God is a God of order and purpose. He does nothing haphazardly or inconsistently. Jesus came to earth to show us the Father and to provide the means of salvation for mankind. His character and lifestyle reflected the nature of God.

Walking N Power

Do you ever get tired of just walking or even running for that matter and seem like you're not getting anywhere? Has life beaten you down so much that you are just tired and often want to give up? Or feel like God has forgotten about you? As Christians we try to do so much on our own and God is trying to tell us that He has given us the ability to walk in power and authority. There is power in the Name of Jesus alone. After the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Jesus told us that He would never leave us not forsake us and that He would leave us alone. Jesus further tells us that He would send another to be with us.

The person Jesus talked about leaving with us is the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is here with ever believer to walk with them and empower them to change. As believer, we have to learn to walk in the Power the Holy Spirit. We spend so much energy trying to fight a battle in the nature that is really a spiritual one. The Bible tells us to be in the world but not of the world. Our enemy cannot be seen. He often is not heard and is always subtle and cunning. When we discover how to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit we learn to recognize the enemy and his devices. We also learn that the battle is not ours but the Lords!

When I was a child I spoke as a child, but when I became an adult I put away childish things. We must learn to live our Christian lives as adults and not as mere children. This spiritual onslaught of the enemy can only be conquered when we discover to walk according to the power God has given us through the Holy Spirit.

It is now time for the body of Christ to stand up and face the enemy face-to-face and stand in the power of the Holy Ghost. It's time for the body of Christ to walk in the Power of the Holy Spirit, so we can stop fighting against one another, but realize that our enemy is not a natural foe, a spiritual one. We have been given all the weapons we need to stop the enemy in his track.

Satan was defeated when Jesus died on the cross then rose from the grave with all power in His hands; therefore we have already won. Did you hear that? WE HAVE ALREADY WON!!! Now, all we have to do is walk in victory and we do that by walking in the Power of the Holy Ghost.
